Fluorescent Selenite Mug

Write a Review

The Selenite crystal on this mug was photographed in fluorescent light, and daylight.

Fluorescence is a type of luminescence caused by excitation of atoms in a material.

Daylight is caused when you open the curtains.

One hardly needs to ask - why have your tea in a plain white mug, when you can bask in the glow of some excited atoms coming from a crystal rose?

This specimen is 10cm and was found in the Red River Floodway, Manitoba.
